Red Bull Hardline 2024: Practice Highlights and New Course Challenges Unveiled

The Red Bull Hardline, widely regarded as the world’s toughest mountain bike race, celebrates its 10th anniversary in Wales with 35 elite riders gearing up for this weekend’s final race. The 2024 event introduces a brand-new, challenging top section that promises steep and technical descents. Notably, the competition now also features some of the top female freeriders and racers, inspired by Jess Blewitt’s iconic 2022 appearance.

Participants Hannah Bergemann, Tahnee Seagrave, Cami Nogueira, and Vaea Verbeeck have successfully tackled some of the course’s most daunting features, including the Road Gap and On-Off. This year’s event has seen significant updates, including the removal of the Canyon Gap, extensively tested by riders, as highlighted in the latest practice session video. Additionally, various noteworthy industry shifts have occurred, such as Santa Cruz Bikes founder Rob Roskopp moving to Specialized Bikes and Sam Hill embarking on a new project with Foes Bikes.

The anticipation is high as fans eagerly await the final showdown in this milestone year of Red Bull Hardline.
